Platts headlines delivered to your desktop with RSS feed

WHAT IS RSS?

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is an XML-based web-content syndication format used to deliver headline feeds to readers. New articles are presented in a list, giving a line or two of each article and a link to the full article or post. Our RSS feeds deliver headlines, descriptions, and links back to today's stories on the Platts Renewables Blog. It's an easy way for you to be alerted when content that interests you appears on Platts. We currently use RSS 2.0.

HOW DO I USE RSS?

To use RSS, you will need to first download a special RSS news reader that will allow you to collect and display RSS feeds. Many readers are available, and most are free. You'll find several options to choose from below:

FeedDemon is a standalone RSS reader for Windows that you can purchase for $29.95 or download for a free 20 day trial.

NewsGator is an RSS reader that integrates with Microsoft Outlook. It allows you to manage and view news feeds the same way as email. You can download a free 14 day trial or purchase it for $29. NewsGator also offers a free web based RSS reader.

Pluck is an application that works as an add-on to the Internet Explorer browser. In addition to being an RSS reader, Pluck has several other applications to help search, retrieve, organize, and share content. Pluck is offered for free.
