The Natural Gas segment supplies natural gas to industrial customers; power companies; local distribution companies; and autonomous reception, storage, and regasification gas units.
It also owns underground natural gas storage capacity.
In addition, this segment supplies natural gas to the residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
The Power segment engages in the generation of electric and thermal energy primarily for industrial customers.
The company, formerly known as GALP -- Petróleos e Gás de Portugal SGPS, S.A, was founded in 1999.
