Gas Natural Aprovisionamientos contracts long-term supplies and transports it to the Iberian Peninsula, through gas pipelines connected to the international networks or by methane carriers that transport the liquefied gas to the regasification plants.
This division supplies approximately eight million customers located in Spain, Argentina, Colombia, Brazil, and Mexico.
Gas Natural Comercializadora involves in gas and electricity commercialization in Spain.
Gas Natural Servicios, its natural gas trading services company, offers maintenance, insurance, and security system services.
Commercialization is performed through the company's portal and 900 gas centers, including its own centers, those under franchise, and associated centers that it operates across Spain.
In October 2003, Gas Natural SDG completed the acquisition of ENRON's assets in EcoEléctrica de Puerto Rico for a consideration of US$179 million.
